I am starting my WordPress Credits journey as a Computer Systems Engineering student at Universidad Fidélitas in Costa Rica. This portfolio is part of my Computing and Society course.
During the onboarding stage, I completed the following Learn WordPress courses:
- Open source basics and WordPress
- How decisions are made in the WordPress project
- Community meeting etiquette
- Writing in the WordPress voice
- Basic principles of conflict resolution
- Beginner WordPress User
These courses introduced the principles of open-source collaboration, the organization of the WordPress community, and the tools used to create and manage a website.
I am now preparing this portfolio to keep a record of my participation. My work as a computer technician involves solving hardware problems, and I want to build on that experience as I develop my software and collaboration skills.
In future posts, I will document my project activities, the resources I use, the challenges I encounter, and the progress I make.
